Idea Cellular: Bashed by a severe tariff war, telecom operator Idea CellularBSE -2.65 % on Saturday reported a consolidated loss of Rs 325.6 crore in the three-month period ended March 31, 2017. The company had posted a profit of Rs 449.2 crore in the same period a year ago.

Jammu & Kashmir Bank: The lender on Saturday reported a significant jump in net loss to Rs 554.30 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, due to rise in bad loans. It had posted a net loss of Rs 56.02 crore in the January-March quarter of 2015-16 fiscal.

Suven LifeBSE 0.64 % Sciences: Drug firm Suven Life SciencesBSE 0.64 % reported 7.8 per cent increase in standalone net profit at Rs 40.06 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2017. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 37.16 crore during the same period of last fiscal, Suven Life Sciences said in a BSE filing.

Karnataka Bank: Private sector Karnataka BankBSE 0.45 % has reported a rise of about 30 per cent in net profit at Rs 138.37 crore for the last quarter ended March 31, 2017. It had posted a net profit of Rs 106.79 crore during January-March period of 2015-16.

Inox Wind: Wind power solutions provider Inox Wind's consolidated net profit dipped 36 per cent to Rs 127.54 crore in the quarter ended March 31. The company's consolidated net profit was Rs 201.12 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

Tata TeleservicesBSE -2.42 % (Maharashtra) Limited: Net loss of Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited widened to Rs 1,366 crore for the quarter to March 2017 after booking an impairment charge of Rs 905 related to 800 Mhz spectrum. It has reported net loss of Rs 343.39 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

UCO Bank: Public lender UCO Bank narrowed its loss to Rs 588.19 crore during the March quarter as provisions for bad assets fell. Net loss stood at Rs 1,715.15 crore in the same period last year.

NDTV: Broadcasting firm New Delhi Television LtdBSE 9.72 % (NDTV) reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 5.28 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2017. The company had reported a net loss of Rs 0.77 crore in January-March quarter a
year ago, NDTVBSE 9.72 % said in a BSE filing.

Jindal Stainless: The company on Friday reported Rs 161.12 crore net profit for the March quarter of the last fiscal. It had clocked a net loss of Rs 171 crore during the January-March quarter of the previous fiscal, 2015-16, JSL said in a filing to the BSE.

PNB Housing Finance: The company has reported a jump of 49 per cent in its net profit to Rs 152.4 crore for last quarter ended March 2017 on healthy net interest income. The company’s net profit in corresponding March quarter of the previous fiscal stood at Rs 102.60 crore.
