Den Networks tumbles below 8% after posting quarterly loss

Den Networks Limited on Tuesday tumbled over 8% on the BSE. It is down by 8.3% at Rs 89.30 per share at 11:24 hours IST.

The stock witnessed a spurt in the volume by more than1.04 times. It hit a high of Rs 98.80 and a low of Rs 82.35 so far during the day. The market capitalisation of the company is Rs 1732.65 crores.

The company on Monday posted a consolidated net loss at Rs 60.55 crores for the quarter ended March 31, 2017, as against a consolidated net loss at Rs 210.30 crores for the same quarter in the previous fiscal, as per BSE filing.

DEN Networks Limited is engaged in the distribution of television channels through analog and digital cable distribution network, and provision of broadband service.

Den Networks Ltd is currently trading at Rs 89.1, down by Rs 8.3 or 8.52% from its previous closing of Rs 97.4 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 98.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs 98.8 and Rs 82.35 respectively. So far 505930(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 1889.81 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 105 on 03-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs 60.85 on 30-Nov-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 103.4 and Rs 95.25 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 36.78 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 49.67 % and 13.55 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading below its 50 DMA.
