Kotak Mahindra Bank increases foreign investment limit

Kotak Mahindra Bank on Thursday is trading at Rs 944.75 per share, down by 0.6% at 11:11 hours IST on BSE. It hit a high of Rs 952 and a low of Rs 938 so far during the day.

The bank on Thursday informed that the board of directors has given its approval to increase the ceiling limit on the total shareholding of Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)/ Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) from the current limit of 42% to 43%, as per BSE filing.

On the NSE, the traded volume of shares is 4,67,149 and the traded value is Rs 4409.75 lakhs. The free-float market capitalisation of the company is Rs 1,13,736.93 crores.

Kotak Mahindra Bank deals in debt, equity, money market, forex market, derivatives and investments and primary dealership of government securities.

Stock View:

Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd is currently trading at Rs 941.65, down by Rs 9.55 or 1% from its previous closing of Rs 951.2 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 951 and has touched a high and low of Rs 952 and Rs 938 respectively. So far 539415(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 175118.61 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 980.2 on 15-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs 692.4 on 04-Jan-2017. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 980.2 and Rs 930.3 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 32.08 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.41 % and 21.51 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
