PSU Bank stocks have been losing their ground in the last one hour. Orient Bank stock is trading lower by 1.8% at Rs 157.1 per share.
Union Bank stock is trading lower by 1.7% at Rs 170.8 per share. Bank of India stock is trading lower by 1.38% at Rs 178.6 per share.
There are 845 advances, 743 declines and 358 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting mixed sentiments floating in the markets.
At 12 PM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 30420 up 98 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9468 up 22 points. A total of 79 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 17 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.06% at 15048, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.28% at 15694.
Some buying activity is seen in Telecom, Information Technology and Consumer Durables while Banks, Healthcare and Metal are showing weakness on BSE.
ACC, Bharti Airtel, Bharti Infratel, TCS, Reliance Industries Limited are among the gainers, whereas Hindalco, Asian Paints, Zee Entertainment, Bank of Baroda, Coal India are losing sheen on NSE.
