Realty stocks, Housing Development Infrastructure Ltd (HDIL) fell 1.7%, Prestige Estate is down1.2%, Indiabulls Real Estate is down 1.1%, Sobha is down 1%, DLF Ltd is down 1%, Godrej Properties Ltd is down 0.4%.
At 12 PM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,205 up 149 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9625 up 37 points. A total of 47 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 25 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
There are 782 advances, 819 declines and 361 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting a flattish note in the market.
The BSE Mid cap Index is trading up 0.1% at 14835, while BSE Small cap Index is trading up 0.07% at 15678.
Some buying activity is seen in Oil & Gas, Power and Realty and Bankex, Auto, Telecom and Finance showing weakness on BSE.
Adani Ports, Bharti Infratel, Reliance, TCS, Indusind Bank and Bajaj Auto are among the gainers, whereas Cipla, Aurobindo Pharma, Lupin, Dr Reddy’s are losing on the NSE.
The INDIA VIX is down 1.1% at 10.
