Live Stock Market Updates – Lacklustre trade on D-Street

The BSE Consumer Durables is the top losing index on Wednesday trade. It is down by 0.9% at 15726. Titan Company is majorly contributing to the index losses and dragging it to lower levels.

Titan Company is trading lower by 1.6% at Rs 508.20 per share.

Other stocks in the index viz. PC Jeweller is down 2.3% at Rs 480 per share, TTK Prestige is down 1.1% at Rs 6660 per share, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals is down Rs 218 per share and Rajesh Exports is also down 0.6% at Rs 686 per share.

Meanwhile, Fortis Healthcare rallied nearly 4% during Wednesday’s trading session as markets buzz suggested that its diagnostic arm may list on the bourses.

At 12 PM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading flat at 30,959, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9518 up 7 points. A total of 12 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 52 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.

The BSE mid-cap Index is trading up 0.48% at 14,538, while BSE small-cap Index is trading up 0.45% at 15,209.

Some buying activity is seen in Realty, Power and Metal indices, while Energy & FMCG index is showing weakness on BSE.

Tech Mahindra, yes Bank, Tata Steel are among the gainers, Asian Paints, SBI & IndusInd Bank are losing on the NSE.

The INDIA VIX is down 3.8% at 12.02.
