Bajaj Auto is the top gainer in Sensex and Nifty. The stock has extended its Friday’s gains. It is trading higher by close to 2.5% at Rs 2916.75 per share. Titan Company Limited is the most active stock by value on NSE. The stock has extended its morning gains and is trading higher by 13.14% at Rs 534.3 per share.
There were 1031 advances, 551 declines and 380 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly positive bias floating in the market.
At 11 AM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31311 up 38 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at its all-time high of 9674 up 21 points. A total of 66 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 27 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.41% at 14862, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.67% at 15413.
Some buying activity is seen in Capital Goods, Metal, Pharma, Auto, while FMCG and IT is showing weakness on BSE.
Bajaj Auto, ONGC, Bharti Infratel, BPCL and Yes Bank are among the gainers, whereas Lupin, Coal India, Wipro, Infosys, Ultratech Cement are losing sheen on NSE.
The INDIA VIX is up 1.08% at 10.92.
